Aspire Talent Management Programme. Our clients at 02 recognised a need to develop their home grown talent. Attrition was high and despite the large number of employees, internal promotions were low. Enter Gecko: We worked alongside HR and Learning and Development to, amongst other things, design a selection process that helped 02 identify individuals with the capability and the desire to make an impact on their business. Our aim was to recruit for attitude and train for skill. Over a period of twelve months our talent pools met monthly at tailored workshops and in-between to drive projects that made vast improvements in retail. Many other departments benefitted indirectly from the retail projects, including the contact centre and marketing. The Aspire Talent Management Programme was such a hit that it still lives on at 02 today and has now been rolled out to other areas of the business. Our clients reported a decrease in attrition, an increase in internal promotion and an increase in employee engagement.
